Holly and Andrew at Eaves Hall

April showers didn’t dampen the spirits and Holly and Andrew had a wonderful day at Eaves Hall. Lots of cute kids, one nephew wore his trilby all day (except for the ceremony!) and Andy had a matching one. All in all a lovely day and Holly looked really fabulous.

Lindsay and Paul at the Monastery Manchester

It’s been a while since I shot a the Monastery buy it didn’t disappoint. I’d forgotten just how stunning this building is. I still get the “wow” factor when I go in. It looked amazing dressed in the purple colour scheme. As did Lindsay! We had a really lovely day and the sun came out (briefly).

Helen and Rick at The Spread Eagle at Sawley

Last Saturday at the Spread Eagle a wedding happened. I’m finding it hard to describe as so much went on. The boys went go-karting in the morning, the girls chilled out at the hotel getting pampered. The boys arrived in a cloud of dust and screeching brakes, the girls chilled out at the hotel being pampered. The boys propped up the bar and the girls chilled with some champers whilst being pampered!

See where I’m going with this? – it was a day of contrasts.

The boys were prone to putting in their “billy-bob” teeth, brought back from the stag weekend and the girls were classy and chilled. Well, until the singer started………!

Lisa and Situl at Eaves Hall

Sunshine!!!!!! Yay. What a stunning day we had. Lisa looked resplendent and Situl looked handsome. We had fun and the weather made it. I love henna and I wasn’t disappointed. Thank you for letting me be part of it!

Amber and Mark at Underley Grange

Amber and Mark planned a really special day. Hyacinth (Muscari) set the colour scheme, stunning colour in the bridesmaids dresses and flowers. Vintage details and a fab sweetie table (very tempting, and yes I did partake!)

The weather held out and the light was very special. We went to an amazing bridge between the church and the drink reception and the images are really stunning.

I was assisted by my good friend and newbie photographer Sarah Valentine and she shot some wonderful images.

Here are some of my favourite shots, and to prove how good Sarah is already, five of them are hers!

The General Tarleton at Ferrensby

I just love shooting food, and when it’s this good it’s easy! Patron and award-winning chef, John Topham, creates fresh tasting dishes for a menu that combines modern exciting cuisine with some ever-popular more traditional and comforting choices. So when I was asked to shoot his food I was really excited.

I shot a few images of the decor too as I loved the atmosphere.
